NF Group launches a new thick film heater
NF Group recently launched a new thick film electric heater designed for electric vehicles, aiming to solve industry pain points such as reduced battery efficiency in low temperature environments and high energy consumption for cabin heating. The product uses advanced thick film printing technology to combine nano-scale conductive materials with insulating substrates to achieve an efficient, safe, and lightweight thermal management solution.

Core technology advantages:
1. Fast response and high energy saving: Through direct heating technology, the working temperature can be reached within 3 seconds, and the heat conversion efficiency exceeds 95%, which saves more than 20% energy compared with traditional PTC heaters, significantly extending the winter range of electric vehicles.
2. Modular intelligent control: Integrated multi-zone temperature control function, which can independently adjust the heating power of different areas, such as battery packs and cabins, and cooperate with the onboard BMS system to achieve precise temperature management.
3. High safety and reliability: Adopting high-temperature resistant ceramic substrates and flame-retardant materials, it has passed IP67 protection certification, has overload protection and a self-power-off mechanism, and can adapt to extreme environments from -40℃ to 85℃.
Application scenario expansion:
In addition to power battery preheating, this product can also be used for comfort heating components such as steering wheels and seats. It is compatible with 800V high-voltage platforms and supports OTA upgrades to optimize heating strategies. NF Group said that this new electric heater has been mass-produced and will help electric vehicles break through the bottleneck of low-temperature performance.
This release marks NF Group's technological breakthrough in the field of new energy thermal management, which is expected to drive the industry towards a more efficient and integrated thermal system.
