A Roof-Mounted Air Conditioner is an all-in-one air conditioning system integrated into the roof of the vehicle. It is widely used in commercial vehicles such as RVs, trucks, and buses. Its core advantages are space saving and efficient cooling/heating.

Working principle:

 

Compression and heating: The compressor compresses the low-temperature and low-pressure gaseous refrigerant (R410A/R290) into high-temperature and high-pressure gas (80-100℃).

 

Condensation and heat dissipation: The high-temperature gas is forced to dissipate heat in the roof condenser by the fan, and the liquefaction is cooled to 40-50℃.

 

Throttling and pressure reduction: The liquid refrigerant is atomized and depressurized by the expansion valve, and the temperature drops sharply to 5-10℃.

 

Evaporation and heat absorption: The low-temperature refrigerant absorbs the heat in the car in the evaporator, and the cold air is transported to the car through the air duct.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Installation attentions and fault analysis Installation attentions 1. The red positive electrode (≥10mm2) shall be connected to the positive electrode of thebattery (the end with fuse shall be connected to the positive electrode of the battery), and the negative electrode shall be connected to the negative electrode of the battery.2. The sponge around the sunroof shall be flat without wrinkles to avoid water leakage after installation of the air conditioner. Fault analysis for refrigeration failure or bad effect. A. The power cord is too long and thin, with a bad connection B. No or short of refrigerant C. In energy-saving mode D. The fan of the compressor or condenser is not working E. The evaporator or condenser is too dirty or blocked 3. Turn on the air conditioner and check if the high and low pressures is within the normal range (high pressure: 1.2-1.4, low pressure: 0.2-0.25). Select a mode and see if the air conditioner can work normally under all modes. After the air conditioner can run normally, turn it off. 4. Attention: Refrigerant oil is filled in the one-piece air conditioner before delivery. After first installation, do not fill more refrigerant. In case of any refrigerant leakage during the use of the air conditioner, add 80mlof  refrigerant oil again. The refrigerant oil used must be of high quality.       Products Application
