Repair and Maintenance
(1) After using the heater in winter, it should be removed from the vehicle and cleaned, and inspected. Major repairs are not required during the heating season. If the heating efficiency is significantly reduced, the engine is difficult to start, or there are other problems, the cause should be identified and eliminated immediately. For example, if the heating efficiency is reduced due to excessive carbon deposits, the heat shield and carbon deposits in the combustion chamber on the inner wall of the water jacket should be cleaned. The fuel tank, oil pipes, and oil filter should always be kept clean and open, and should be cleaned periodically according to actual conditions.
(2) The parking heater circulation system should use antifreeze or an antifreeze mixture adjusted to the ambient temperature as the cooling medium. When the stationary heater is not in use, turn it off and keep it clean and dry. It is strictly prohibited to immerse the heater in water, expose it to rain, or expose it to direct sunlight for long periods.
