1、Product Introduction
With the concern for environmental protection, the development of electric vehicles has attracted great attention internationally and is entering the automotive market. Internal combustion engine vehicles use waste heat from the engine for heating, requiring additional equipment as the main heat source. A high-voltage positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater capable of achieving the required heating power, efficiency, and reliability was considered the best choice.

3、PTC Heater technical solution
（1）Off Mode
Vbat enters this mode after power off. The system is not powered on and does not work. All PTCs are turned off.
（2）Initializing Mode
Vbat enters this mode after power-on or reset, and automatically exits this mode after system registers, variables, and status are initialized.
（3）SelfCheck Mode
Enter the mode after the initialization is completed. The signal part self-test is completed in 2S, and the power part self-test will be completed in 6S after the power is turned on and the power output command is received.
（4）Work Mode
It is in this mode when the self-test is completed and the communication is normal. The system outputs power to drive according to the control command.
（5）Diagnostic Mode
Diagnose components and operating status during normal work and failure, and determine the system's switch between Work and Error modes.
（6）Shut Mode
When communication is lost, enter this mode, PTC is off.
（7）Error Mode
When a fault is detected, this mode is entered and the PTC is turned off. After non-fatal fault recovery, you can enter Work mode again. Fatal faults need to be powered on to recover.
