Automobile Electric Water Pump
Automotive electronic water pumps. Many new energy vehicles, RVs and other special vehicles often use micro water pumps as water circulation, cooling or on-board water supply systems. This type of micro self-priming water pump is collectively referred to as an automotive water pump. The circular motion of the motor causes the diaphragm inside the water pump to reciprocate through a mechanical device, thereby compressing and stretching the air in the pump chamber (fixed volume). Under the action of the one-way valve, a positive pressure is formed at the drain port (the actual output pressure is related to the power assistance received by the pump drain port and the characteristics of the pump); a vacuum is formed at the water pump port, thereby generating a pressure difference with the external atmospheric pressure. Under the action of the pressure difference, water is pressed into the water inlet and then discharged from the drain port. Under the action of the kinetic energy transmitted by the motor, water is continuously inhaled and discharged, forming a relatively stable flow rate.

Automobile water pumps generally have a self-priming function. Self-priming means that when there is air in the water pump's water pipe, the negative pressure (vacuum) formed when the pump is working is used to raise the water pressure below the water pump outlet under the action of atmospheric pressure, and then discharge it from the water pump's drainage end. Before this process, there is no need to add "water diversion (water for guidance)". A micro water pump with this self-priming ability is called a "micro self-priming water pump". The principle is similar to that of a micro air pump.
It combines the advantages of self-priming pumps and chemical pumps, and is synthesized with a variety of corrosion-resistant imported materials. It has acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance and other properties; the self-priming speed is extremely fast (about 1 second), the suction force is strong, the suction range is up to 5 meters, and there is basically no noise. Exquisite workmanship, not only has a self-priming function, but also has a large flow rate (up to 25 liters/minute), high pressure (up to 2.7 kg), stable performance, and easy installation. Therefore, this large-flow water pump is often used in new energy vehicles.

Although some micro water pumps have self-priming ability, their maximum self-priming height actually refers to the height of water that can be lifted after adding water, which is different from the true "self-priming". For example, the self-priming suction range is 2 meters, but it is actually only 0.5 meters; the micro self-priming water pump BSP-S is different. Its self-priming height is 5 meters. Without adding water, it can pump up water 5 meters below the pumping end. It is truly "self-priming", and the flow rate is much larger than that of ordinary micro water pumps, so it is also called "large flow self-priming pump".
