Product Description

Our high-voltage coolant heaters can be used for improving battery energy performance in EVs and HEVs. In addition it allows comfortable cabin temperatures to be generated in a short time enabling a better driving and passenger experience. With high thermal power density and fast response time due to their low thermal mass, these heaters also extend pure electric driving range as they use less power from the battery.

Precautions for use of PTC heaters:

1 After the heater is connected correctly, it is recommended to put on the low voltage first and then the high voltage when the power is on; When powering down, first put down the high voltage electricity, and then the low voltage electricity.

2 The water flow rate in the water cycle ≥ 4L/min, and the flow rate is too low will cause frequent temperature protection.

In order to ensure the maximum energy efficiency of plumbing PTC, pay attention to the following matters during installation:

The highest point of PTC should be lower than the expansion tank;
The water pump should not be higher than PTC;
PTC should be installed after the water pump and before the warm air core;
Pay attention to the direction of PTC inlet and outlet water;
Before PTC works for the first time, or after the pipeline parts are repaired, the water pump should be run first, and confirm that it has been exhausted, and then power on PTC.
